ToyMuchInformation! - Splatoon 2 Kisekae Figures by Bandai

The Splatoon kisekae figures are a lot of fun, if you like mix and match fashion type toys. The QC on these is pretty amazing, considering the figures themselves are a whopping 2″ tall, which makes all the clothing parts even smaller. I have yet to spot paint defects on these. The details are amazing and accurate to the in-game gear (they’re actually more detailed than the larger figures), and thus far we have almost all of the Inkling ‘hairstyles’ available in both Splatoon 1 and 2. 

Construction is pretty solid, only a little fiddly when it comes to bits like the removable ears and getting the tops on and off (if you have ham fingers like mine). I’ve noticed the tentacles on the green boy like to fall off at random if I’m not careful, as well, but that’s a minor thing really. Shoes pop on and off with a satisfying click, and the ankles actually have a bit of swivel to them, which in addition to the ball joint in the neck, helps the figures to balance on their own if you don’t want to use the odd ‘stands’ they come with.

They’re not poseable, but they blend right in with the WoN mini-figures (also 2″), and would make decent small siblings for the 4″ Inklings if one’s so inclined =p
